Did you know...1 in 4 of the world's children (that includes the USA) are living in extreme poverty.
Many poor children receive little or no education and often struggle
every day with hunger, poor health, low self-esteem, neglect and even
abuse.
Did you know...over 400 million children have no access to safe drinking water.
Many walk for hours in exhausting temperatures to collect water that
can cause illness instead of refreshment, and can even put their lives
at risk.
Did you know...nearly 28,000 children under the age of 5 die each day from causes that are mainly preventable, such as drinking dirty water and living in unsanitary conditions.
Did
you know...more than 120 million children start their day homeless and
surviving on the streets -- prey to every danger imaginable.
They have no one to hear their cries, hold them when they're lonely,
feed them when they are hungry or care for them when they are sick.
It
is for one of these precious, forgotten children whose heart is broken,
whose life feels worthless and whose future is at risk that I ask you
to intercede and consider becoming an ongoing sponsor for a child.
